photo by JP Ekwall. This tiny bird was hiding deep in the branches, almost impossible to see but he caught it. We see them flitting around here at times but they are so fast, here then havee flown away. They are about 5" a familiar gray bird with black cap and throat patch. It has a white chest and tan belly, with small white wing marks. The female and juvenile are the same as the adult. Thet are non-migrators. You can find more informaton on wikipedia right here! |
